Liberty continues strong growth with nine new contract wins
Property services business, Liberty, is continuing its strong growth during 2021 with a further nine new contract wins across its repairs and maintenance and heating and compliance services.
The Merseyside based national business has been awarded a contract with West Lancashire Borough Council to deliver a £587,000 programme to renew kitchens in 126 of its homes over the next 12 months.
Wigan Council has also appointed Liberty to its repairs and maintenance framework to provide adaptations in homes for vulnerable and disabled people to help them live independently. Securing a place on the framework means Liberty will be awarded a share of the £5 million programme of works.
Working with Leeds City Council, Liberty has been successful in a competition process and appointed as one of 4 contractors to a 4-year reroofing framework until 31st March 2025, that will deliver capital investment works for the provision of new roofs to properties. Each financial year Liberty, as one of the 4 appointed contractors, will compete in competition for works in the region of £2m with 2 contractors been appointed for that year to deliver approx. £1m each.
Four heating contracts have also been secured.
National provider of homes for people with a disability or mental health conditions, Advance UK, has also awarded Liberty a three-year, £530,000 gas servicing and maintenance contract. This will also include air source heat pumps and solar thermal heating systems.
In Wales, Liberty has secured a £400,000 contract to deliver gas and other fuel heating system servicing repairs with Linc Cymru, a housing association and health care provider providing 3,800 affordable homes and 1,100 sheltered and extra care homes.
