Liberty celebrates 5-year partnership with ForHousing and Cheshire West & Chester

Liberty is proud to celebrate five years partnering with ForHousing and Cheshire West & Chester Council as primary contractor for delivering property services including heating system service and maintenance, general property repairs and large-scale regeneration.

Held on 22 August at the Bridge Wellness Gardens in Ellesmere Port, we celebrated our partnership with a fun day, where the local community spent the day in the sun with free, family-friendly activities featuring inflatables, face painting, games, live music and entertainment for all ages.

With over 350 people in attendance, Liberty supported the running of the event, looking after the inflatable space hopper games and running a promotional stall where the Liberty team, who are currently delivering the Sutton Way regeneration scheme, showcased how works were progressing.

Bryan Tennant, Regional Director at Liberty, said: “It was a great day supporting ForHousing in celebration of the five years working in partnership with Cheshire West and Chester Council. And a special thanks to all the staff that got involved.”

Janet Lawton, Strategic Housing Lead at ForHousing, said: “We are really proud to mark this milestone with Cheshire West and Chester Council and celebrate all we have achieved together.

“We are responsible for managing thousands of homes but this partnership is about so much more than that – maintaining safe and attractive communities, improving lives and boosting community wellbeing.

“Tenants and local residents have also played a huge role in the success of this partnership and are influencing how we shape and deliver services.

“We wanted to say thank you and celebrate, so a community event felt very fitting, and it was great to see so many people make it along for a fun day out.”
