Liberty awarded £1.2m electrical testing framework contract with Denbighshire County Council
Liberty has been awarded a new contract for electrical testing by Denbighshire County Council. The contract, worth a total of £1.2 million over two years, will see Liberty carrying out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in accordance with the latest version of BS7671.
This exciting new contract builds upon Liberty’s existing partnership with Denbighshire, where Liberty has been delivering the domestic heating and repairs contract for the council for 10 years.
In addition to providing high-quality electrical testing services, Liberty is expanding it’s commitment to making a positive impact in the local community and environment. As part of the contract, the business will work to provide CV writing sessions, mock interviews and work experience placements to upskill people in the local area. Liberty will also be making a financial donation of £500 to a local grassroots club/scheme identified through Denbighshire County Council.
The contract will commence in April 2023 and will run until 31st March 2025, with an option to extend for a further two years.
Denbighshire County Council said: “Liberty’s track record of customer care, safety and service compliance has been the backbone of our relationship over the past 10 years. And we’re pleased to be expanding our relationship with them, as they begin this EICR contract to provide additional safety and compliance services for our tenants.”
Lee Smith, Assistant Director at Liberty, said: “We’re delighted with this business growth in our Northern region. We are proud to have welcomed new customers and secured additional work from existing satisfied customers.
“At Liberty, we are committed to delivering high-quality services and making a positive impact in the local community and environment.
“It is great that our teams are continually being recognised as experts in heating installation, repairs and maintenance whilst also providing high quality and good value service.
“We are looking forward to improving thousands more homes and lives across England and Wales over the coming years through this work.”
